Survey of Buenos Aires Informal Settlements (2026)

A survey of nearly 1,000 young residents of six informal settlements in the Buenos Aires metropolitan area, designed and fielded with Rodrigo Zarazaga (CIAS) and funded by the Kellogg Institute for International Studies. The study reaches a population that standard national samples rarely capture, and includes original batteries on intergenerational and expected social mobility, regime preferences, economic attitudes, vote choice, and experience of crime. Fieldwork concluded in July 2026.

Survey of Argentine Members of Congress (2026)

A survey of Argentine national legislators measuring commitment to democratic norms, conducted with Sandra Botero, Carlos Gervasoni and Scott Mainwaring, and funded by an American Political Science Association Centennial Center grant. The instrument combines direct questions with indirect questioning techniques, including list experiments designed to mitigate social desirability bias among elite respondents.

It extends the panel series begun in 2015.
